Early monday morning, I got hungry so mama came in to feed me. While in the rocking chair her bad foot fell asleep without her knowing it. When she went to stand up, she either stepped wrong or her toes caught on the carpet or something. We heard a really loud POP noise, she called for Daddy who came a-running and took me and mama fell to the floor and started to watch her foot swell.
We were really scared that she had re-broken her foot, but when we went to the emergency room (yea! first trip there, and not for me!) they said not broken just a torn muscle. Good news, but it puts mama in a walking cast. Good thing I'm here so she doesn't have to go to work.

Wow! I have to admit, that looks pretty nasty - sad that it probably feels worse than it looks. So sorry Amber! It stinks when Mommy is out of commission! Hopefully you'll be back on your feet (with no cast) soon! I find my legs always fall asleep while I'm nursing too . . . strange!
