All In the Family: Sickness

So this last month has been kind of hard on this little girl, I got two ear infections and crackly lungs so Mama and Daddy had to give me medicine and do breathing treatments. The medicine was pretty good but that darn machine that blows in my face I could only handle so long, I think I over heard Daddy say the other day the easiest thing was to wait until I was asleep, which was fine by me. Well after I got that all taken care of a few days later I started coughing AGAIN!!! Now this makes it really hard to sleep at night so I liked getting Daddy up to play (Mama would just hold me and make me go back to sleep...how rude). Well that finally is gone and I have been getting teeth like crazy, I have a big one on the back left (it sure hurt coming in but I am tough and didn't fuss too much) but then last week I got a canker on my tongue and Mom and Dad thought I had just bit it but on Saturday Mama noticed something funny on my gum's where another tooth was coming in and another canker on my tongue so after a quick trip to Aunt Darla's and a prescription later Mom found out I have Hand, Foot and Mouth (Hoof and Mouth). I had tried to tell them but they wouldn't listen to me. So because I can't go to Katy's or Amelia's to play with my friends Mama took me to the farm. We drove all the way and sure surprised Grandma and Papa. Then after a good nights rest Mama headed home so she can work but I get to stay and play for the whole week and if I am better by Friday Daddy will come and get me, but I agree with Grandma I might not be better by then and will have to stay a little longer **wink**wink**
